Little Hickories: Spring Foraging / May 17th, 2025

This event is ideally for ages 3-14 years old (contact me if you have questions).

During this 1-hour class we will search for spring wild edibles in a group setting while also engaging in an open discussion about what nature means to us, why it's important to our overall health, and what stories it has to tell us. Space for this event is limited. *Every child must have an adult present with them at the event (ADMISSION FEE IS PER PERSON). This class is limited to 20 individuals.

Main topics from this program:
- Basics on plant and mushroom identification
- Foraging safety and sustainable gathering methods
- Spring season ecology
- The importance of establishing a strong connection to nature
- Advice on interacting with natural spaces which will give you and your child the comfort, confidence, and desire of spending more time surrounded in it and enjoying it immensely.

When: Saturday May 17th, 2025 @ 10:00am-11:00am (1-hour class)

Cancellation policy: If you choose to cancel your spot(s), do so at least 30 days before the scheduled date of the workshop. Your purchase will be eligible for a 50% refund if canceled at least thirty days prior to the workshop event date. If canceled sooner than 30 days from the date of the workshop, there’s no refunds. *WE DO NOT OFFER A CREDIT TOWARDS OTHER CLASSES IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE ORIGINAL CLASS YOU REGISTERED FOR.
