Spring Foraging / May 3rd, 2025
Join George Barnett for a walk discussing spring wild edibles that are both native and non-native to Kentucky. During this class, you will be in a forested/meadow setting walking a distance of approximately 1.5-2.0 miles. This class is limited to 30 individuals.

-Fungi identification basics (look-alikes if applicable)
-Spring seasonality
-Identifying plant habitats
-An introduction to Latin binomials
-Plant/mushroom quizzes (throughout class)
